Journey through the heart of Australia’s Red Centre and Top End on this unforgettable tour from Alice Springs to Darwin. We travel across some of the country’s most spectacular and diverse landscapes, from rugged beauty of the outback to the lush tropical scenery of the Northern Territory. We will discover iconic natural wonders, fascinating history, and unique wildlife. From exploring the highlights of Alice Springs including Standley Chasm, Simpsons Gap and the Old Telegraph Station, we head north to Tennant Creek, known as the Territory’s “Golden Heart” it offers a rich blend of gold mining, Aboriginal culture and rugged red dirt. Continuing north to Katherine we enjoy lunch at the iconic Daly Waters Hotel, situated on the Katherine River it is seen as where the outback meets the tropics. We visit the UNESCO listed Kakadu and after day with our local guide we join the sunset cruise. Arriving in Darwin we will experience all that the NT’s capital has to offer including a lunch cruise on the Adelaide River on the Jumping Croc Cruise, and a day out in Litchfield National Park. This tour includes airfares from Melbourne to Alice Springs and return from Darwin to Melbourne.
