Often spoke about but seen by few, this is your chance to visit Mungo National Park … the park is part of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Wilandra Lakes Region. The Mungo National Park is where the remains of Mungo Man, the oldest human remains found in Australia. Our 4 nights of the tour we stay at the Best Western Chaffey International, Mildura just up from the confluence of the Darling and Murray Rivers, the latter forming the border with Victoria to the south. Whilst in this part of the world we will also spend time visiting some fabulous destinations in Mildura, including Orange World and Varapodio Olive Oil Farm, as well as the cultural precinct of Mildura, including the 1891 built Rio Vista home and the Mildura Arts Centre and Historical Museum. Our time in Mildura would not be complete without a paddlesteamer trip down the mighty Murray, and a stop at Trentham Estate Winery.
