Two words … Melbourne, and Spring. The city of Melbourne is certainly the place to be in the first week of November, with its gardens in and around the city all in full bloom you can feel the excitement that comes with the ‘race that stops the nation’ the Melbourne Cup and Spring Racing Carnival. Our time in Melbourne is not just about the races, we will absorb ourselves into much that Melbourne has to offer including the Queen Victoria Market. We will spend the first Tuesday in November at Flemington Racecourse where we will be swept up in the excitement of being part of grandstands filled to the brim, and the roar of the crowd as the horses come down the main straight whilst taking in the fashion and entertainment that is the Spring Carnival.
