Experience the diversity and natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast. From the picturesque waterways of Noosa Heads it encompasses beach resorts, surf spots with around 100 kilometres of sandy coastline and a rural hinterland with the volcanic peaks of the Glasshouse Mountains as a backdrop. We are fortunate to be here on a Wednesday and will visit the famous Eumundi markets, held in the small village of Eumundi they are as popular with the locals as they are the visitors. We will visit Australia Zoo – home of course to the late Steve Irwin, the Zoo has a world-renowned reputation for its conservation work. We spend a day away from the coast and into the Blackall Ranges and the Glasshouse Mountains, where we wander through the rainforest walk.
