MONDAY 6 – SUNDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2027

This really is an amazing tour … departing Melbourne on The Overland we enjoy ‘premium class’ for the trip west to Adelaide. Arriving late in the afternoon we make our way to our hotel, home for the next four nights.

Our time in Adelaide will see us explore so much of what it and the surrounds have to offer … Our hotel sees us stay right in the heart of Adelaide and it is from here we explore the many attractions the city has including such landmark places as the Adelaide Markets, Montefoire Hill, a tour of the Adelaide Oval, Glenelg Beach, the Adelaide Hills including time in the historic town of Hahndorf and a visit to Beerenberg. Our tour will see us venture out of Adelaide to the beautiful gourmet region of the Barossa Valley … just over an hour’s drive northeast of Adelaide the Barossa is a renowned wine producing region with an array of high profile wineries and other gourmet delights. We will have lunch in Tununda one of the many little townships that are dotted through the valley. Whilst in the Barossa we visit Maggie Beer’s Farm for a private hosting.
We will visit Goolwa and board a cruise to the see where the mighty Murray meets the ocean, and n the afternoon visit the iconic D’arenberg vineyard and have a tour of The Cube.

This amazing tour doesn’t just include all this … our tour will also include visiting Monarto Zoo … the zoo is now the largest open range zoo/safari experience to exist outside of Africa, spanning more than 1,500 hectares and home to more than 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds and reptiles, but wait … we don’t just visit the zoo, we spend a night in the brand new and highly acclaimed Monarto Safari Resort and do a private two and a half hour sunset tour of the zoo.

Our trip home sees us head south east down the Riddoch Highway through Coonawarra and Penola to Mount Gambier, our home for the last night of what can only be described as a tour that memories of will stay with us forever.
