We’ve all heard of the iconic Australian towns of Cobar, Longreach, Bourke, Charleville, Emerald, Lightning Ridge … this is your chance just not to hear about them but to see them plus so many more.

Our 14 day tour will have us leave Melbourne and head north in to New South Wales through to Griffith, continuing on through Cobar and on to Bourke … not the back of, but the real thing. Continuing north and passing through more legendary towns such as Cunnamulla, Charleville, Longreach and Winton.

From here we head east to Emerald before heading south towards home … but before we get home there are still so many more renowned towns we visit and pass through, these include St George, Lightning Ridge, Dubbo, Parkes and Wagga Wagga.

These destinations read like a ‘who’s who’ of iconic Australian towns, but it’s not just the destinations it’s the places we visit and the things that we will see that make this tour one that the memories of will last forever. Included in the tour are visits to Goolgowi the ‘crossroads to the outback’, Cobar Heritage Centre, the Australian Age of Dinosaurs, the Tree of Knowledge, the Qantas Museum where it all started in Longreach, the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame, Lightning Ridge opal mine tour, Western Plains Zoo, Parkes telescope and so much more ..
