FRIDAY 14 – MONDAY 17 MARCH 2025

A short trip down Melbourne Road takes us to Victoria’s second largest city of Geelong … we will make this our home for the next three nights. Our trip down will see us stop in Werribee where we have morning tea at the historic Werribee Mansion followed by a wander through Werribee Open Range Zoo.

Geelong is the gateway to the truly stunning  Bellarine Peninsula, and we will get to experience some of it in a way that can only be experienced by train .. we enjoy a 3 hour journey on the iconic Q Train which also includes a magnificent lunch.

After a leisurely start on the final morning we board the coach to head to the Bellarine Peninsula passing through Drysdale and Clifton Springs before arriving at Jack Rabbit Café for a wonderful morning tea. Jack Rabbit winery and cafe is one of the most iconic venues on The Bellarine, with its amazing views we are sure to enjoy this cuppa. Continuing along the Bellarine we make our way to Queenscliff and a visit to the Maritime Museum where we will be given a guided tour of this fabulous museum. After our time in the museum we have time to wander the quaint seaside hamlet that is Queenscliff and enjoy some lunch (at own expense) before we jump on the Queenscliff ferry for our sailing to Sorrento where we will make our way up the Mornington Peninsula, stopping at Arthurs Seat and then back to Melbourne.
