Kangaroo Island lies off the coast of South Australia, south west of Adelaide and is often been described as a “zoo without fences”. There is an unmistakable sanctity about the island with its raw and rugged coastline, impeccably clear waters, natural wonders and wildlife. Over one third of Kangaroo Island is protected in nature reserves and although impacted by the 2020 fires it is still home to an array of native wildlife.

Our tour will see us leaving Melbourne and passing through the wine growing region of Coonawarra before we spend 3 nights on Kangaroo Island. We will witness the majestic coastline and nature reserves that the island has, including Seal Bay and the Flinders Chase National Park. Whilst there we will also visit the Island’s honey farm and eucalyptus distillery.

A visit to the acclaimed Raptor Domain to view the majestic birds of prey put on a display that will leave us speechless. Departing Kangaroo Island we make a stop at Victor Harbour, a historic and quaint seaside village possibly best known for the horse-drawn tram that takes you across to Granite Island.
